I’ve been using RoP for several months now on atlantatechblogs.com. Up until last week, it worked flawlessly, then it just stopped. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, reconfigured, etc. Nothing. I can see the queue for the next posts, but nothing ever gets posted and there are no errors in the log. In fact the log is empty.

  • This exact thing happened to me and I did all the same things and still nothing. I’ve also even deactivated all plugins and start activating one by one but still nothing. I was hoping someone could tell what happened. Maybe some incompatibility with the new WP version?
    Thanks

Unfortunately, the problem is not resolved, I’m sorry to say. On Sept 13, the plugin simply stopped working. Prior to that date, for more than 5 months, it had performed flawlessly. Nothing changed on our about that day. WordPress 4.6.1 was installed on Sept 9th, but no other changes on the 13th.

There are exactly 15 other cron jobs that run on a regular basis on my website, and they all run consistently.

The ROP cron job is scheduled, but does not run and produces no errors. It just doesn’t happen. When I manually run the cron job, it works flawlessly.

    Please help.

I’m having the same problem as Kevin and the plugin stopped working on September 13 as well. I’ve installed an older version (Version 7.3.7) to see if that works. It isn’t the link to Twitter that isn’t working as you can still manually post to Twitter using the plugin by clicking publish on a sample post, but no automated tweets go through.

Hi there, I have submitted the system report as well as support token via ThemeIsle Support Parrot and not received a response. Is anyone able to help?

In my case, it only tweets when I click on “Share Now”, because running the cron manually doesn’t do anything.

[~/public_html]# wp cron event run twitterroptweetcron --url=****.*****.org
Executed the cron event 'twitterroptweetcron' in 0.014s.
Success: Executed a total of 1 cron event.
    [~/public_html]#

I’ve already sent a support ticket and the only suggestion I’ve received so far is that I should keep the cron active, which it is.

    Hello,

I have sent my system info and installed the support parrot plugin. When will someone be able to diagnose this issue? It seems from other members that I am not alone in losing functionality earlier this month.

    Please help.

    Kevin

It would be great if they could actually get this issue resolved. I’ve gone through all the steps that everyone else has listed above and it is not working. Very disappointing.

Despite all effort and following instructions, I still haven’t been able to solve the issue. I deleted the plugin for a while and see if in a few days I install it again and see if it works. Hope plugin guys find the problem since there are many users experiencing the same issue.

Love the plugin and I was even considering upgrading because I want the feature image to be pulled on each post but until the free version works again perfectly I’m not upgrading!

    Kind Regards!

I am still waiting for some resolution to this issue. Your plugin simply stopped working on September 13th. All my other cron processes work perfectly, except for Revive Old Post.

Please help us all resolve this issue.

I am having the exact same issue. But, I noticed something funny: it works on weekends. I don’t know why, but on saturdays and sundays, it works. On monday, it stops again. ??
