Make sure you have the latest version of the Ditty Twitter Ticker plugin. The latest version is 1.2.0. This issue was resolved a few releases ago when I converted to Twitter API v1.1.

If you are not being notified of an update in your dashboard, you will need to download the latest version from CodeCanyon (from your downloads page) as I also switched auto-updaters a version or 2 ago.

Hi, thanks for the quick update, much appreciated. I’m using version 1.2.0 – I thought that might fix it but unfortunately not. Have you any other ideas? Thanks again.

You’re welcome! What keyword are you trying to use? I’ll test it out on my site.

Thank you! For example if I try ‘google’ or ‘#google’ it no longer works. I’ve tried a variety of other terms with no luck unfortunately.

Those are working fine for me. I have added #google to the scrolling ticker here: https://dittynewsticker.com/ditty-twitter-ticker/

Could you create a ticket here: https://metaphorcreations.ticksy.com/
With dashboard access and FTP info for me to check out your site?

Tweets for specific terms are displaying but they are about four months old!

Again, I am not seeing this issue. Please create a private support ticket with the link above so I can take a look at your site and figure out where the issue is stemming from on your site. Thanks!

Thanks I will. However, I’ve just spotted that I’m using version 1.2.0 of Ditty News Ticker but version 1.1.7 of Ditty Twitter Ticker. If these are the correct versions I’ll get the ticket logged. If not, I’ll download the latest version as you originally suggested. Thanks again for your help, much appreciated.

Sorry that was totally my mistake, I have now updated the plug-in to the latest version. Sorry for the confusion! :-S Cheers
