Twitter issue: %ANNOUNCE% is trimmed to 140 characters, but account support 280

Message format: %ANNOUNCE% %SURL%

Despite the settings, when posting, the %ANNOUNCE% is truncated to 140 characters. And put “…” at the end.

I also tried %EXCERPT% %SURL% (this method support advised me) but it also 140 characters max.

Checkbox “This Twitter account still has a limit of up to 140 characters” is turned off.
