When I draft my tweet and include my website’s url, the default image shows. But when I post the tweet, Twitter shortens the link to remove https://wwww and my default image disappears and shows a gray box. I would appreciate any help!

A gray box typically means that Twitter couldn’t retrieve the image. This could be due to the image size or your server / setup blocks Twitter from retrieving the image.

Using Twitter’s card validator, I do not see any issues with either your homepage or the twitter:image itself.

Does the issue still occur? If so, are you using Twitter on the web or a mobile device or through a 3rd party service, like HootSuite, to write/post your tweets?
