Twitter Featured Image not Appearing

I checked the source of the page and found that the dimensions of the Social/Twitter image that you’ve set are 724px X 482px – https://a.supportally.com/i/GJzOwh

The recommended dimensions for a Twitter image are in a 2:1 ratio.

Please set an image of dimensions 1200px X 630px and after clearing your website’s cache, test the page again on Twitter and see if the image shows.

Regarding caching time, it is common for Twitter to cache data for up to 7 days as also mentioned in our guide here – https://aioseo.com/docs/troubleshooting-problems-with-sharing-content-on-twitter/#:~:text=Caching%20of%20Images%20by%20Twitter

Hi, I responded back through the email thread.

I re-downloaded the image from istockphoto using the pre-defined Twitter graphic. It will only allow me to resize 1024 x 512. Still, the image will not show up for Twitter. Any other thoughts?

I tested the page on Twitter and replicated the issue. Upon investigating, I found that Twitter was seeing a cached version of the page.

I fetched the page using the Card Validator tool of Twitter and tested the page again on Twitter and the image was shown.

It is common for Twitter to cache pages for almost 7 days as mentioned in our guide here – https://aioseo.com/docs/troubleshooting-problems-with-sharing-content-on-twitter/#:~:text=Caching%20of%20Images%20by%20Twitter

In such cases, you can either try fetching the page again with the above tool or follow the above guide and use the image after slightly changing its name.
