Twitter/Facebook card issues

Having issues with both Twitter and Facebook sharing.

Twitter cards pick up the correct title but never any images. Facebook cards show exactly what I want in the preview, but when they are posted the image disappears. Apart from the homepage, where the image is fixed and appears on Facebook when posted.

The Facebook issue seems to be open graph image issues, but I have tried all variations of settings without luck – the most frustrating thing being that the preview works perfectly – is this then a Facebook issue ?

I am using the shareaholic social plugin – would that be causing any conflicts ?
