Twitter Error 1 with Nextend Twitter Connect 1.4.60

I am having the same problem, assuming the issue is on the Twitter end, but any info is helpful! Need to know if I have to take down the Twitter log-in option entirely or what have you.

I also have this same problem. I have set up the plugins for facebook and google and worked fine, the twitter plugin does not work. I have tried every setting at twitter also.
