Twitter Embed

  • Hello everyone, I am having trouble with embedding tweets in post. All that comes up in the post is text as opposed to the picture of the tweet and the option to follow or respond etc. Can anyone tell me how I could possibly fix this? I have wordpress 3.8.1. Thank you for any help anyone can give me.

  • Are you using a plugin? Are you using the supplied Twitter widget? I’m confused how your grabbing tweets and displaying them on your page.

    Thanks for the reply. I am copying the individual tweets URL and posting it in my post in a line on it’s own and only the tweet’s text will come up

    So I have no idea why it’s doing this because I just did it on my friend’s site who’s sitting right next to me and it worked perfectly fine on his. I have a twitter plugin for the site but when I deactivated it and tried again this still did not work.
