Twitter Description empty in WP 5.6

    In WP 5.6 the Twitter description always seems to default to a bunch of blank spaces:
    ” ”

    It used to have placeholder text that was generated from the post copy. All other fields seem to work fine. Any ideas why this one field seems broken by the upgrade?
