Same issue as the other guy had a month ago

I followed all the steps in the instructions, it appears the account is linked in the scheduleposts settings, but when enter posts and I try to share the post as a tweet I get the error:

Twitter Connection Problem. error code: 403

I followed the instructions given to the last guy – I even followed the video and reset all the keys etc

    Nothing solves this issue.

Pulling my hair out as this is the only plugin that has even come close to working with twitter ..can someone help ?

    Hi @radmax42,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. It seems the issue is in your created App.

Please use the API version 1 for your created app and allow the Read and write and Direct message permission from the App Settings.

After that, please regenerate the API Key and API Secret Key once and connect your Twitter with the regenerated API Key and API Secret Key from SchedulePress settings (after removing the existing one on the SchedulePress). And retry to share the post on Twitter.

I have checked on my site, and it is working well. I have created a screencast for you.

Here I created a Twitter APP with API version 1 and allowed the permission. After that, connect with the SchedulePress and share a post with instant share. Check this screencast: https://d.pr/v/LEXtbV

I hope this will help you. Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks!
