Twitter card image not showing

    Hello!

    I have a problem – when i paste my home page url in twitter, site’s image on twitter card is not shown. When i paste category url, same problem. When i paste product url, image is visible.

    Twitter card validator says all pages are ok:
    INFO: ?Page fetched successfully
    INFO: ?32 metatags were found
    INFO: ?twitter:card = summary tag found
    INFO: ?Card loaded successfully

    When i test these urls on other twitter card testing tools that be can be found on internet, image shows. But when i try to put home or category url in twitter post, then there is a problem – home and category pages dont show images.

    I tried to switch to large image and small image both in rank math general settings and page settings, also cleared cache several times – no luck.

    Can you help?

    Can you please try rescaling the homepage’s featured image to 1200×630 in pixels? Also, please make sure you keep the image file size below 300KB. Clear your website cache and try sharing your URL again on Twitter.

    The problem is back.

    As you can see Twitter card image is not showing.

    Image size is bellow 300kb, but i cant change dimensions. Featured image is also a product image on website, so i need it to stay reasonably big.

    Can Rank Math fix this Twitter image problem?

    This isn’t an issue in our plugin. You can check the page source to confirm that our plugin is adding the?twitter:image?tag that Twitter uses to generate the preview. However, the image resolution is big for the summary card preview and that could be the reason Twitter is not using the image. Please try switching the preview to Large Image and see if that resolves the issue:?https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-box-social-tab/#card-type

    Hello!

    I didnt change a thing, but now image on twitter shows. Did you change something?

    Image resolution is 750 x 1000 px. Is that big? Ive seen bigger and they still show it in twitter card.

    No, we didn’t make any changes as we don’t have direct access to the users’ websites so this was just a temporary issue that eventually got sorted with the Twitter (X) card.
