The website was recently redesigned and new to Yoast SEO (free version). After inputting the social metadata, the Twitter card for a specific page is only showing the title/description and not the image. (Facebook renders just fine.)

So far I have done the following:

    1. Uploaded (the same) image with a new file name (and updated the metadata) to force a refetch.
    2. Checked robots.txt (basically empty)
    3. Verified all the required meta tags rendered in the <head> tag (looks right)
    4. Tried a bit.ly URL but that rendered nothing at all
    5. Cleared the site cache at the web host (WPengine)

I have read through the numerous other posts about this issue, and gained a lot of insight and troubleshooting ideas, but clearly we are still having an issue.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello @junicorn

Thanks for reaching out regarding your Twitter card. It’s unclear why it’s not being fetched since the necessary meta tags required by Twitter is added. I tested the URL in the Twitter card validator and it reported no issue.

Please use the?Twitter Cards?category on the developer forums to post a question.
