Twitter Button Display error

Love this plugin and for the most part it works perfectly. However, every once in a while the Twitter button will show blown apart code. Rather than list “Share on Twitter” text on the button, it shows one of the post’s tags with a line of code afterward.
I can’t determine why it works fine on most posts and does this behavior on only a few.
