Twitter background transparent, after updates

Hi. Before the current update, I would add some extra code within the twitter code paste, (I just use code pasted into a text widget) to make the background of my twitter sidebar box transparent. After the update WP, and updating all the plugins. The code refuses to make any difference and the background of the twitter box remains stark white. Nor ors adding code to the CSS instead….

Does anyone have any ideas on what has gone wrong, any code that might work.
