Twitter and other media not showing up on posts

  • Hey all,

    My blog, theaosn.com, is having a few problems.
    1. The Twitter feed is not showing up on my sidebar. I submitted the correct information to connect it to the Twitter account but it still won’t show up.
    2. When we try to embed Tweets in our posts, they show up as just text.
    3. We try adding photos and gifs to the posts and they tend to appear, then disappear.

    If anybody needs more details, I’m more than willing to explain more.

  • Have you tried changing to the default Twenty Fifteen theme?

    I have not but I’m not really planning on going back to a basic theme since I bought my current one.

    I am not saying that you should start using the Twenty Fifteen theme, I am just saying that you should switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule out any theme specific problems.

    It the Twitter thing is fixed on the Twenty Fifteen theme then it is a problem with your paid theme. In this case I would contact the theme authors/developers as www.remarpro.com does not support paid products. You can usually find some sort of support forum, contact forum, or telephone to contact the authors of the paid theme.

    If the Twitter stuff doesn’t work on the Twenty Fifteen theme, then it is a bigger problem. In this case, it would take a little longer to figure out.

    There was one problem I have now. The Facebook commenting feature was deactivated after the first items were fixed. Any advice for that?

    Are you using a plugin for the Facebook commenting?

    I was not and I believe my theme enabled the commenting. Not quite sure, to be honest. I’ve changed so many things around in the last week that I’m pretty scatterbrained.

    If it is a theme problem then you should contact your theme people.
