Twitter?

    Is Twitter supported in this plugin? If not, will it be? I was looking at the very similar Comments Evolved plugin and trying to decide between the two. However, neither seems to support Twitter, and it almost seems like CE has been abandoned. However, the author of CE mentions somewhere (in the FAQ I think) that additional social networks may be supported upon request.

    My question is, has Twitter been requested/considered? I’m currently using a plugin called Social that I have a love/hate relationship with. I love that it aggregates Twitter/FB comments into my WP site, but Social Comments and CE have better support for more social networks AND they look nice.

    I’m really looking for a reason to just switch over to Social Comments, but the lack of Twitter is making it difficult for me to make up my mind.

  • Also curious about this. the preview image for the plugin shows twitter, but its not included… Also, fixes were supposed to be implemented to fix the excessive google+ comments height. Still trying to use CSS selectors to fix the excessive height of google plus. also, 100% of the time removing all of the excessive padding and using box-sizing style so things actually fit for all devices.

    However, the jetpack comments do have twitter, and they are pretty slick, just having some issues getting it to load on all sites.

    It was requested in the past but since twitter has no commenting system/widget then i don’t see a reason to add it to the plugin or don’t even understand what to add from twitter to the plugin.

    as for Jetpack, they only allow login by Twitter and not actually commenting as tweet or anything like that.

    The ability to login with twitter would be very useful even if they dont have a commenting system.
