    hi all –

    under subscribe2>settings in the section “send emails” the options: “once hourly “, “twice daily”, “once daily” show up twice. alls the other options are there just once.

    some of the users seem not to be getting emails. could it be that the two topics are related?

    or in other words: is there a problem with the options showing up twice?

    i think before the update to the latest version the options just showed up once. but not sure…

    any help would be greatly appreciated, jp

  • @jp,

    The scheduled intervals are either part of the core or are being added by a plugin. I suspect they are showing twice as they are being added by 2 different plugins. That shouldn’t impact on functionality unless they are unfortunate enough to have exactly the same slug name – but I’m not sure that is possible.

    hi mattyrob – thank you for your quick reply and for spending your time to help non-IT-gurus like me….
    so basically the subscribe2 plugin does not create the time intervals but just uses the ones that the wordpress blog has?
    could it be that an update of subscribe2 created a second set of intervals, as i have no different plugin dealing with intervals and really did not change anything except for updating the plugin and updating to the latest WP.
    but if it does not create a problem i will just ignore it ??

    i will monitor if people are still not receiving emails or maybe that was just a few times and happened to be coinciding with the problem described above. but that then might be a different problem…

    thank you again, greetings, jp

    @jp,

    I’ve had a double check through my code and in fact Subscribe2 only adds a ‘weekly’ schedule interval so the duplicates are coming from somewhere else.
