[twentysixteen] Post/Page heading not responding to h1 edits.

Hi, today I have learned a lot, with thanks to suggestions from forum contributors.
I’ve explored at least 3 ways to work with google fonts.
Currently I’m using Easy Google Font plugin, I’ve selected a number of fonts for p, h1, h2, h3 etc.

I’ve added to css an override for page & post titles

h1.site-title a {
   font-family: 'Tangerine', cursive;
}
entry-title,
.entry-title a {
     font-family: 'Tangerine', cursive;
}

neither work, and I’ve still got a heavy, bold, sans serif title. https://www.ursulaholdengill.com
