Twentysixteen double date display in comments

Hi. I’m running a child twentysixteen theme. I recently changed the general WP settings to show time as well as date on posts. I then noticed that this results in a double time display on comments, e.g.:

27 Jan 2017, 19:29 at 7:29 pm

Where my normal display would be:

27 Jan 2017, 19:29

What would be the cleanest way to remove the extra time display at the end of those entries? Thanks!
