twentyseventeen scrolling home page not working

    When you visit the home page (mobile.micah-affiliates.com) the plugin is not working. The page has five segments and no sidebar appears on any segment.

    If you go to an individual segment from the menu (eg. Portfolio), the sidebar appears.

    How do I get the sidebar to appear on the scrolling home page?

    Note: the sidebar contents are actually under development – I’m just using the default “Blog Sidebar” for testing purposes.

    Thank you for reporting this.

    In order to display sidebars on pages in TwentySeventeen, you should look into this plugin in addition to Content Aware Sidebars:

    Combined, these plugins allow you to show/hide sidebars on any page in this theme.

    Unfortunately, if you are using the Front Page Sections feature in TwentySeventeen, it is not possible to display a sidebar (without additional coding).

    I recommend using a page builder plugin such as Elementor or SiteOrigin Page Builder to add sections to the front page and still have a dynamic sidebar.
