• Is this plugin compatible with the new WP theme and how to add the language switcher in the menu of Twenty Twenty-Two using the site editor (header template + Gutenberg).

    Thanks.

I have tested it quickly and it’s seem there are problem
1 – i can’t add the language switcher in menu but work with the shortcode [falangsw]
2 – the menu is not translated (the post type wp_navigation) is visible in post translation not in menu translation. you can translate it in backend but the translation are not visible in front-end.

2 – the post/page can be translated normally

Acutally i can say it’s not working directly due to the menu, i will see to make it working.

    Thanks, Stephane,
1 – The sortcode method shows the languages in the upper left corner of the page but, not in the menu.
Can this be solved by creating a block with the switcher included, so we can just add that block?
2 – This is because TTTwo theme uses templates and template parts > header to manage the menu, and the menu is actually a block. What is your expirience with other default themes using templates?

p.s. I’m not very familiar with this gutenberg based themes/system but I like the possibilities it offers, if I find something will let you know.

    Hi,

I played a little yesterday with this TTTwo template and download the getwid free template too, it’s a guttenberg template.

1 -it’s solve the problem with the menu and translation because you can use a standard WordPress menu.
The menu system from TTTwo can’t be translated with Falang actueally, it’s a wp_navigation post but even when you make the translation it’s not displayed.
I have to work on this.
2- Other theme work in most case , sometimes a small change need to be done in Falang or in template. Flatsome the last one i make support or phami.

Ps: in my case i don’t like gutenberg template/widget system. the other page builder i have see are better (elementor, divi ,yootheme…) use gutenberg for page ok but for post is a non sence.
