Yeah, I see it. It’s just plain text, not a link. Looks like the theme is stripping out all HTML from the excerpts.

Will check it out and figure out if there’s something we can do about it, but if the theme forces HTML to be stripped from there then there might not be anything that can be done.

The new block themes are removing all HTML tags from the excerpt. I made a patch: https://github.com/butesa/wp-advanced-excerpt/commit/814cfa4674b60075db7261acff196c7dc04809d7

@wpkube, I have the same question as the above user. I manage a network of websites that would benefit from this patch being incorporated into the plugin, and the latest release of the plugin from 4 months ago didn’t seem to include it.
