• I am using the Twenty Twelve theme with no child theme. My sidebar shows in Firefox, Safari and Chrome. But in IE9 it doesn’t show on my home page. It does show up on my other pages in IE9 though. I’m thinking that something in my posts is keeping the sidebar from showing, but I have no idea what that might be.

I’ve looked though the posts and am not finding anything that is helping. My URL is pamfraser.com.

I need to add that on the front page not only is my sidebar not showing in IE9, but neither is my footer.

I finally found the problem with my footer and sidebar in IE9. There was a post that had a lot of extra code in it. The code must have somehow gotten there when I pasted some text into the post. Now I see that my drop down menu is not working correctly in IE. I see posts on creating a child theme to move the menu below the header image. Is there any other way to get the drop down to work correctly in IE9?

Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Twelve folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
