Twenty twelve: Change ONLY post background colour

  • Hi guys

    Been pulling my hair out (what’s left of it) over the last twelve hours and can’t for the life of me figure out how to change the background colour of posts only in twenty twelve. I’m working locally so I can’t post any links. Has anyone got any tips?? I can change colour on ‘single’ posts no problem but changing the post colour on actual blog pages (where I have twenty posts per page) is proving impossible.
