twenty twelve, change menu to vertical

    How can I change the horizontal menu in twenty twelve to a vertical menu?
    Now I’m using a custom menu widget, but then I’m losing my responsive design, what the first reason was to ude twenty twelve.
    Anyone suggestions? Would be more then welcome.
