Twenty Thirteen Last Update

First this is a child theme

The problem:

Since the last update to the Twenty Thirteen theme, there now is about a 20px white space at the top. As well as at the bottom of the artwork. The slide show is an Edge composition. Before the update the header went to the top and the artwork butted up to the navigation.

This is happening on all sites that are using the Twenty Thirteen theme.
