Twenty-ten corrupted after installing WP-pagenavi plugin

  • I was working on my blog after transferring it from WAMP and when I installed WP-PageNavi the background went black and no matter what I do I can’t restore it. I have tried activating other themes but it is stuck on Twenty-ten and won’t budge from there. I have deactivated the plugin but no good. Can somebody please tell me how to restore it back to a plain white background so that I can then place the pale green background with the image over it again? Thank you.

    Got the white background but now the theme won’t save my own header and background image and color for some reason. What is happening and how do I fix it please somebody?

    Is WordPress this finicky?
