• Using twenty-sixteen, the only attribute I’ll be displaying for a post is the date. I’d like to move the date from it’s current location in the left column, to UNDER the post. Then, I’d like to expand the content width into the left column (which will now be empty of any tags / attributes). Thanks.

  • Same here. This is the first time I’ve really tried to use the twenty sixteen theme instead of installing a different one. It was my impression that it was a two-column theme if I put widgets in the right sidebar, but there’s the area of a whole left sidebar being taken up below my picture and the post date. I need to add a table that isn’t very wide, but is too wide for a three column layout on most laptops. It’s responsive, but I’d rather hide my picture and the date than one of the columns of the table.

Since nobody has answered carolaklass, and I’m tired of looking for an answer, I’ll either start hacking the page.php or just find another theme.

Actually, I guess that’s the answer!!

    LOL, thanks.
