Twenty Sixteen Child Theme Function to show Only Excerpts on Archive Page

  • I’ve been searching for a solution to this – but basically, I want to add a function to a Twenty Sixteen child theme to show the excerpt rather than the full text of a post on a category archive page. I don’t want edit the archive.php or content.php to do this. Is it possible?
