twenty seventeen version compatibility

The theme that this plugin was showcased with originally was twenty seventeen…and I forgot that I already experienced problems with this plugin when updating this theme. I guess I will revert back to version 2.0 which I know worked…but otherwise does anyone know up to what version it works?
