Twenty Fourteen Top Nav Pages

  • Hi, I would like only some pages to show in top navigation Bar. I have created Menu Items to show in side nav. Need to be able to seperate my pages. Want Blog and Home to show in top and maybe later add to that Nav, but all my other pages I want to show in Side Navigation. can someone assist?

  • Under Menu you will see a white title box that says “Edit your menu below, or create a new menu. “

    Click create a new menu, give the menu a name like “Side Menu”

    Save Menu.

    Now add what pages you want on side menu.

    On that same page you’ll see something that says “Menu Settings” with three check boxes under it.

    Click the one that says “Secondary menu in left sidebar“

    Now save menu.. all done!

    thats great Erik, thank you. But the problem is it is still showing on the main nav bar next to home.

    Then you need to select the other menu (what you named the top nav) from the drop down box and remove those pages from the menu.
