Twenty Fourteen display category and date below post

  • I’ve searched and can’t find out how to move the date and author name to the end of a full post.
    I’m using a Twenty Child theme – Mooney on Theatre

    I also want to remove the genericons and also the comment link.

    On a post excerpt I want to display the date and author at the top – no genericons here either.

    I know I saw something about removing the genericons but I can’t find it.
