I made up this blog with a static cover page but if you view it on a small screen- even a laptop- go to the site you find no link to the blog posts. It shows up as a nondescript box with three small vertical lines…which, if you click will get you to the menus.
Question is how to make this site user friendly or at least viewable on small screens. It won’t work on Ipad, 15″ laptop even, much less a mobile device.
    Thanks

That’s expected behavior with the twentyfifteen theme when viewed from mobile devices.

Your site stays in “normal” view for me down to an approximate 10 inch view port – unless I increase browser magnification (Ctrl +). It also displays as designed on my android phone, my tablet, and a 15 inch laptop. I think the problem may actually be with whatever mobile plugin you’ve activated.

When I select the “web” view in a mobile (small viewport) device, the theme displays the way it was designed to, instead of using the mobile theme that’s being forced by the plugin. Twentyfifteen is already a responsive theme, you don’t need a mobile plugin.

    Thank you James.
I finally figured out that the three lines are a symbol for a compressed menu and that most mobile users will recognize it as such.
I haven’t added a mobile plugin. I did search for a way to activate one if it was there already but haven’t found it yet.
Your answer was very helpful to me and particularly about the normal views and magnification.
    Thank you.
