twenty eleven theme – no contents in IE 7

  • Using Twenty-Eleven theme for a clients website. Works perfect in all browsers except IE7.

    Only header and footer work – on every page – but no central content.

    De-activated all plug-ins, no change.

    Checked WC3 and made changes, content still doesn’t appear.

    Any one have a guess what I can try next?

  • Have you tried
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Turns out it was IE7 haslayout bug.

    Added overflow:hidden to the main container and all looks good.

    I am also facing similar problem. I am using Twenty Eleven, the site works well in ie8, ie9. But in ie7, the content doesnt show up. Only the header, sidebar and footer showup correctly. The page content is simply blank. How can I fix it?

    @unstill: I have just checked your site in document mode: ie7 standards using developer tools. You still seem to have problem. The page content doesnt show up even in your case. Were you able to solve?
