Twenty Eleven Theme – HELP – Replies on Homepage Issue

  • I am having an issue where when you are on my native HOMEPAGE (i.e. not on a particular post), at the bottom of every post, no matter what post, it is showing the most recent tags and comments for the most recent post.

    I.e. a post from two days ago is showing tags and “13 replies” that go with TODAY’S post. So, when you click on “13 replies” for a post from two days ago, it takes you to the comment area for TODAY’S post.

    I hope that makes sense. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? HELP!

  • Have you made any changes to the theme?

    do you have any plugins activated?

    if so, try deactivating all of them to see if that solves the problem.
    then reactivate one afte the other to find the problem one.

    can you post a link to your site to illustrate the problem?

    @darrenmeehan – not any changes to the CSS – just in the normal options.

    I cant see the problem with the comments and tags you mentioned. Did you get it fixed?

    If not, then I as alchymth says try deactivating your plugins. Turn off any caching so you can see changes.

    Btw theres a plugin outputting “Post Footer automatically generated by Add Post Footer Plugin for wordpress.” which links to a site with a domain for sale, is the plugin doing anything?
