twenty eleven theme customize

  • I have 5 pages in my website using twenty eleven theme. I want to remove sidebar just only from home page. Other pages will have sidebar.

    How do I do that?

  • Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. First create a child theme for your changes.

    do not edit the default theme Twenty Eleven directlty.

    are you referring to Pages in the sense of WordPress’ static pages (as opposed to Posts) or to web pages?

    is your home page set as a static page?

    general:
    pages do not have a sidebar by default,
    but you can use the ‘Sidebar Template’ for any page that should have a sidebar.
