Twenty Eleven showcase showing recent post older to newest

  • Recently moved to twenty eleven to enjoy the showcase static page. The feature that shows the recent posts with a right sidebar is showing my oldest post first and listing the other posts from oldest to newest.

    I want and thought it would ‘showcase’ the most recent post on that home page and list the posts going back in time….

    I’ve checked for stickies posts and have removed one – yet that didn’t change the behavior.

    any help, for something that should be simple (?) is greatly appreciated.
