Twenty Eleven Post Formats

I created an audio post format for a twenty eleven child theme. It displays fine on the index, but not when viewing the post.

I added audio player code to content-audio.php but when viewing the post, the player won’t display. I’ve tried adding the code to single.php as well, but it will only display above the meta tags, or below the utility tags no matter where I add it.
