• I really love how Twenty Eleven can easily handle using fluid width (width not hard coded but it self adjusts to the user’s screen resolution). I can get the content areas to fill the page nicely on a template with sidebar. Between the post and the sidebar the screen is nicely filled. Is there any way to have the single column default template also fill the screen. You can see what I mean at https://gregihnen.me (with sidebar) and https://gregihnen.me/test-of-default-template-no-sidebar.

    Thanks!

  • Perhaps you could edit the page width in the theme editor, or create a template if you would not like this to apply to all pages.

    Good luck!

    Search for this are and see if changing the data helps:

    /* One column */

    I’ve tried messing around with that area of the CSS changing width, max-width and margins and it doesn’t change anything.

    Thanks for the try. I appreciate it!

    Got it! Thanks! I wasn’t tweaking the right one!
