twenty eleven feature image not working

I’m using a slider header which works fine but on specific pages I only want one particular image to show. It works for me on the contact page but when I go to set a feature image on the web design page (Solutions>Web Design) it doesn’t work. Under the edit page the featured image is shown but when you preview the page it’s still on the slider. Thanks ahead for any help.
