[twenty eleven] deleted menus in child theme still showing
-
hello,
i’m running a self-hosted wp 3.2.1 install with a child of the twenty eleven theme, the wp core code, themes & plug-ins all properly updated.
my problem is with the menus in my child theme derived from twenty eleven. i put a couple of dummy place-holder menus in there while i was working on other stuff (“contact,” “the awful truth”). i’ve now gone back and moved “contact” to be a nested drop-down menu under a new menu “about,” along with a couple of other menu items. however, no matter how many times i save the menu items or refresh the main home page of the blog, the old menu items, “contact,” “the awful truth” still show, not the new menus i’ve worked on.
i don’t have any cache plug-ins or tools activated yet, i am in maintenance mode while i work on this; however, i’ve taken it out of maintenance mode, refreshed, and the old, deleted menus still show in the browser (safari, google chrome).
any idea what gives here and how i can make my menus update to what they’re currently supposed to be? any help would be most appreciated. thank you in advance.
best,
