Tweets not embedding and post getting cutoff

Hi everyone,

I’m having a pretty major issue with wordpress. According to this link:

Performing embeds from twitter should be a cinch. However, I’m not experiencing any such ease. I can get them to work if I copy the actual embed code from twitter itself. But if I choose to edit the post after I save>preview the draft, and then save>preview again. They break.

My second issue is that my post keeps getting cutoff at a certain point, which is really bugging me since I would like to write longer articles. I can type text in the post section without any problem. When it comes to viewing it, the text is cut off midsentence. Upon returning to the page to edit it, the text I thought I saved was gone as well.
