Tweet Wheel not sending tweets

A first question for you:

Which plugin version do you use? The very latest version 0.6 changed the way you authorise with Twitter and is mandatory for the plugin to work correctly.

I upgraded to 0.6.1. I didn’t mention last time that I uninstalled and then re-installed the plugin, then re-authorized the plugin. I noticed that in individual posts, the custom field isn’t the new one that used when I set it up again. Also, in the queue, it is showing that it is posting on schedule, but they are not showing up in Twitter.

Thanks for letting me know. When you uninstall the plugin all settings are being removed, too. You have to either update it from your dashboard or replace files manually via FTP.

Thoughts:

• If the queue shows posts being tweeted (i.e. they get appended to the bottom of the queue) that means plugin is functioning correctly.
• If you cannot see tweets on your Twitter, can you make sure you have authorised the correct account and that the application created within a Twitter has READ AND WRITE access, please? Read more: https://nerdcow.ticksy.com/article/5410/

• Try to click “TWEET NOW” under any of queued posts and see if this works

Thank you! It was the read/write, and maybe the wrong authorized account. I changed the settings, re-created new keys, then reauthorized in TW plugin, and now it’s working. ??
