My eyes are popping with watching Youtubes and Googling for the answer to this, so hope to get some help from you Woocommerce experts. On the website below, after clicking on ‘buy now’, the next thing they see is:

Complete their delivery address – (utilising address lookup / predictive entry tools / autofill / autocomplete etc which is already implemented there). Have done all of this so far, BUT this is what is now needed:

When they click submit to confirm those delivery details, a tick box then appears, for them to tick if the billing address is the same as the delivery address they just completed – if so, it should auto copy delivery address to billing address.

How do you do that please? ?? Any help really appreciated.

Really, what I’m trying to do is switch it around, from seeing the current default Billing first then delivery, the buyer would see the delivery form first and if different to the billing address, they would complete that one.

    Hi there,

As far as I know, there are no off-the-shelf plugins that will allow you to switch those two forms around and it would require some custom coding.

That said, I would advise against that as payment gateways focus much more on the Billing Address (with the assumption being that Shipping could be the same as billing, but not the other way around). In other words, if you swap those two forms, it possible to break the checkout entirely as the billing address is usually a requirement for payment gateways (depending on which payment gateway you’re using).

Thanks RK, I will be pushing ahead with it. If there’s any *genuine* experts in these tweaks with Woocommerce, please drop a message.
