    Hi Folks

I’m no way a CSS expert but I use the libretto Theme and wanted to know if it’s possible to tweak a few of its features? I have two in mind…

    1. Instead of the date displaying: ‘Posted on 1st June 2019’, can I modify some of the CSS so that it adds the DAY, ie ‘Posted on Saturday, 1st June 2019’?

    2. Can I remove the design feature that creates a drop cap for the first paragraph?

    Many thanks

    Steve

  • Hi,

    1. This s not done with CSS… I would try first to format the date on the WP options.

    Formatting Date and Time

    2. This can be done adding CSS… But I think the best way to do this is to go to the theme CSS and delete the lines that do that, instead… or create a child theme and have the mod CSS in there.

Thanks Guys. I’m in WP options looking at the ‘custom’ option for the date. what ‘symbol/letter’ do I use for the ‘full day’? ie ‘Thursday’

    Thanks

    Steve

    Hi Guys

Thanks for the pointer! I solved it! I added a lower case ‘l’ to the custom date field.

Can’t solve the removal of the dropped capital letter though in the first paragraph
