  • Hi @stefanozinnanti

    Our plugin is fully customizable and if you want to add additional fields to the Vendor Registration form as an example, there are Filter Hook that you can use to add as many fields as you want. We also have a Custom Code here that you can use and modify to add the additional fields.

    Our plugin aims to serve Clients and Vendors living in a different part of the World and adding options specifically for a certain region may not always get possible from our end. But the mandatory field like the TAX/VAT Identification number option will be there in the near future. However, I would like to inform you that we have already started working on adding an option to add additional fields for the Vendors.

    For Weight-based Shipping, our Dokan plugin has been built on top of WooCommerce, and by default, it doesn’t offer to manage the Shipping by Weight manually. If you need this feature, you can add it to our Feature Request List here.

    However, we are continuously working to provide you with an improved version of the product that can meet almost all of your requirements.

    Thank you ??

    @stefanozinnanti is right.

    In most European countries, laws, regulations and payment providers require that all online businesses have to visibly display their company identification details (VAT/Tax number, EUID, Bank IBAN etc.).
    So we need custom Textbox fields that can be used to make sure the vendor actually displays this info (required fields).

    Also, many customers will be Companies and in some countries, besides the Company Name it’s required to provide the VAT/TAX Number and the European Unique Identifier (EUID). This will be used for billing and tax declaration.

    All these information need to appear on the invoice received by the customer/vendor, so it needs to get linked to the PDF Invoices system.

    Sadly, without these features, your plugin in useless in many EU countries…

    PS1: THIS should be part of the Dokan Core.

    PS2: If it’s too hard/complex to code, maybe you could add support for these 2 plugins that add custom fields to WooCommerce forms:
    Checkout Field Editor
    Flexible Checkout Fields

    Thanks!

    A ticket was created here, let’s see if the Dokan team can deliver.

    Fingers crossed!
