Tutorial for moving to new server?

I’m moving my sites from Godaddy to ARvixe…the latter provides minimal customer service and basically they transferred the filed of my sites from Godaddy and put them onto a Transfer folder (within the public_html folder) on their servers. Now none of the sites work. I’m not sure what to pull out of the Transfer file, where to put it, or how to connect it to the right databases. I’m using a Cpanel and trying to configure the wp_config of one site, but it’s not working. Any tutorials on how to do this? I have five or six sites in all. One is the “main” site and the rest are…so they tell me…add-on sites. Any help would be welcome.
