Tutor LMS replaces the translation files

    Hi Guys!

    I have a problem with translated files .po & .mo

    I’ve made a translation files using Poedit, as is wrote on Tutor LMS tutorial site “Translating Tutor LMS Offline” https://docs.themeum.com/tutor-lms/tutorials/how-to-translate-tutor-lms/

    I’ve uploaded translated tutor-pl_PL.po & tutor-pl_PL.mo files via FTP to even two directories:
    – /wp-content/languages/
    – /wp-content/languages/plugins/

    Translation working just fine about few hours and gets automatically replaced I don’t have any clue why. I have automatic updates of WordPress and plugins turned off. Nothing on server is happening and translated files are replacing over and over again. I used even “define(‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT’, true);” formula?in wp-config.php to stop editing files, but that method also not working.

    It looks as if the plugin downloads the Polish language translation automatically and replaces it on my server. Can You Guys have an idea, how to stop it?

    You might want to give a shot to Loco Translate plugin. It has a protected folder and its content cant be overwritten by online translation. I faced the same problem…I installed the plugin, set it up and never looked back. Also you can translate in it, make changes and minimize or eliminate the use of Poedit (unless you use its advanced functions that is). Good luck.
