Turnstyle Does not allow submission on Forminator Forms

Hello, excellent plugin.

I don’t know if it’s the same error as @evanhgh, but I have a problem with Turnstyle in my Forminator forms.

My form has a mandatory terms acceptance box.

If I check the box before submitting the form, it works fine (it sends it correctly).

But if I don’t check the box, it shows me the typical forminator error message that I should check it; When I mark it, it does not allow me to send the form, even if I hit the send button many times, it is never sent.

This is not desired behavior for my form.

When I disable Turnstyle, the form submission works correctly.
I would appreciate your comments, as well as a solution.

I must add that the sending problem not only occurs when I do not check the mandatory acceptance box, it also occurs when I do not check any of the mandatory boxes, such as email for example.

I just tried it with version 1.22.0 and the problem continues.
For now, put recaptcha, since this affects the sending of my forms.

Hi @matador9 – sorry to hear it’s still not working. Did you clear your website cache (if any) after updating?

I’ve tested it on my end with Forminator, and fixed the issue with it not working after receiving an error (missing field etc). It now works fine on my end.

If you have any performance/caching plugins enabled, could you try disabling them temporarily and see if that resolves it?

Done, it works.
It didn’t work, since I had updated to the latest version of the plugin, but for some reason it didn’t.

Hi @elliotvs

After the update my form still will not work if turnstile is enabled for forminator forms.

My theory is that if there is display logic built into the forminator submit button, that breaks the turnstyle ability to display before/after the submit button so it isn’t possible to verify.

@evanhgh Yeah, I think it’s the way you have the form setup, to hide the submit button, until all the fields have been entered. I believe this is therefore preventing Turnstile from being able to initially render on page load. I’ll take a look into it.
