turning wordpress filters off

  • is there any easy way to turn default rendering wordpress filters off? i’m kind of sick of wordpress turning various code snippets into trash… it would be nice if wordpress’s own filters were grouped into a few plugins (paragraph auto-format, smiley auto-format…) so as to let users disable those they don’t want.

  • Not quite what you’re asking, but the filters have pretty much all been moved into wp-includes/default-filters.php. Just comment out which filters you don’t want to run there.
